The Story, So Far
When we opened our first food truck back in 2012, we had one goal: introduce you nomivores to the ridiculously delicious world of chicken and rice. With high quality ingredients, alluring aromas, and the seduction of self-saucing, we knew our halal grub would be a hit.
So far, we’ve launched a fleet of trucks, multiple restaurants, and a thriving catering business. Our next step? World domination! Just kidding. But we are working hard to find the next eating experience that will take over your world. Burger-Pizza-Burrito, we’re coming for you, buddy…
And thanks to you, we’re growing—so it’s only fair that we return the favor. We focus on hiring locally, nurturing our employees, and giving back to our community through local organizations.
Foundation
The Chicken & Rice Guys Foundation was formed to organize and focus on our efforts in the community.

Young Talents
We have been happy to donate food to Build Boston’s events, including the Entrepreneurship Olympics, in its mission to help low-income students succeed in high school.
Charitable Giving
Since partnering with the Women’s Lunch Place back in December, 2013, we have served over 4,000 plates to their guests.
Blood Donors
We have partnered with the Massachusetts General Hospital Blood Donor Center to give donors a free plate from our trucks as a way of thanking them for helping to save lives. Schedule an appointment with MGH Blood Donation Center.
Student Groups
We have worked with many student groups from local colleges to raise funds for their activities. Student groups brainstorm their own events and then collaborate with our trucks on nights when the trucks are closest to their campuses. Contact us to learn more.
